Multiple user types with different system permissions

Our system supports multiple user types each with different system permmissions. The screen shots below show our back-end system administration panel for two users belonging to two different user types.

Screen A is for a user who has administrative level permissions to the system. This level of user can enter and edit configuration data, SEO content and global data lists. Screen A is for a data entry level user with a more limited access to enter and edit data.

Website visitor registration page

Within our ecommerce suite of website products we offer a visitor registration system. Visitors to your website can create an account where they can enter profile information, sign up for newsletters, register for events or post classifieds, jobs, etc.

Our registration page is integrated with the over all design of your website. The two screen shots below are from websites using our registration system. Notice the website design is different for each website.

Visitor registration: the first step towards conversion of visitors to customers

Enticing visitors to your website to register by offering them free newsletters, discount coupons or other savings incentives is the first step in converting a visitor to your website into a paying customer.

Although weblogs capture data about hits and visits to your website, the information in weblogs is only marginally useful for conversion of visitors into customers because weblogs only capture the IP address of a visitor, not an email address. You need an email address to develop a relationship with a visitor. Of course, to start a relationship with a potential customer, who starts out as a visitor to your website, you need to establish enough trust so that the visitor will provide you with their email address. This means you must have a stated privacy policy and you must adhere to it.

Different types of websites have different needs when it comes to visitor registration. Perhaps the membsite is for a non-profit professional association. Such associations typically have memberships and membership fees. Our website system allows the website owner to define different levels of membership with different fees if they have memberships. The system's reports inform association officers about soon to expire memberships so reminders to renew can be sent out; and more.

The same functionality allows a website owner to manage customers, if instead of being a non-profit association the, website owner is a business that sells products or services.

Profile page for registered users or customers

Once visitors to your website become registered users or customers they can access their own account information at any time through their personal profile page. When they login they will automatically land on their profile page where they can view and edit their profile information, including their login information. They can view their membership status, if the website is using this feature. Customers can view their transaction history.

Product management

Our Product management system is designed for website owners who offer products or services for sell through their websites. Our system allows for entry of products, product attributes like size, color and/or style, and values for product attributes. For Example, if the product is a sheet set:

A product attribute would be "Size" and each size might have a different price associated with it, like this:

Another product attribute might be "Color" but the customer's choice of color does not effect the price of the product, but the website owner may want to use a color swatch to show the customer each color, so the color attributes and attribute values would look like this:
